10 Dividend Growth Stocks For June 2018

Like many dividend growth investors who relied on the invaluable CCC list, I'm saddened by the passing of David Fish. The CCC list has been a crucial resource for most of my articles, and I will dearly miss the monthly updates, so reliably and generously shared with the DGI community! There is an effort to continue the CCC list, but already questions about the format and content are coming up. While I applaud the author's effort, the CCC list is so much more than just a list of... Dividend Portfolio Review: New Dividend Record

It's May and this is the best time of the year for a German dividend investor as this is the month where most of Germany's companies distribute their annual dividends. As such it was no surprise that May set a new record in dividend income but I am still baffled by the amount and the growth compared to the previous year. Having been on holidays to Greece for the best part of two weeks, I was not that active in the second half of the month but some heavy buying and selling during... Read more

1 Dividend Increase: May 28-June 1, 2018

I monitor dividend increases for stocks on my watch list of dividend growth stocks to identify candidates for further analysis. Companies that regularly increase dividends show confidence in the potential growth of future earnings. I look for dividend increase announcements for stocks in the CCC List, but I use several screens to limit the number of stocks to monitor: Market cap ≥ $500 million No stocks that are being acquired No Over-The-Counter or Pink Sheet Stocks Dividend Yield... My Dividend Growth Portfolio - 45 Holdings, 4 Buys, 1 Sell

What's New? Being an investor primarily focused on generating a growing stream of income, I don't get caught up with the day to day movements of the market as a whole. I don't particularly care what number the S&P is trading at any particular time. I prefer to take the ground up approach by keeping tabs on real companies selling real products and how those companies are able to succeed. It's with this owner mentality that helps segment "the market" from day to day... Read more

Top Holdings Of Dividend ETFs (June 2018 Edition)

From time to time, I compile a virtual portfolio of dividend growth (DG) stocks by analyzing the holdings of Dividend ETFs, Real Estate ETFs, or even the public portfolio of DG Bloggers. I find these exercises quite insightful and certainly worth the effort. Comparing my portfolio to the virtual portfolio is informative, as it helps me to identify candidate stocks for analysis and possible investment. Below, I'll provide a brief summary of my approach. For a detailed description,... Read more

13 Dividend Increases: May 21-25, 2018

Monitoring dividend increases for stocks on my watch is one way to identify candidates for further analysis. Companies that regularly raise dividends show confidence in the potential growth of future earnings. I look for dividend increase announcements for stocks in the CCC List, but I use several screens to limit the number of stocks to monitor: Market cap ≥ $500 million No stocks that are being acquired No Over-The-Counter or Pink Sheet Stocks Dividend Yield ≥ 1.5% for... 7 Dividend Increases: May 14-18, 2018

I like monitoring dividend increases for stocks on my watch list of dividend growth stocks because I consider such stocks to be candidates for further analysis. Companies can only increase their dividends sustainably if they grow earnings sufficiently. I look for dividend increase announcements for stocks in the CCC list, but I use several screens to limit the number of stocks to monitor: Market cap ≥ $500 million No stocks that are being acquired No Over-The-Counter or Pink Sheet... Dividend Sensei's Portfolio Update 34: Why The Future Of Work Will Be Glorious

(Source: imgflip) First, let me be very clear that this is my personal portfolio tailored to my specific financial situation, risk profile, time horizon, and personality traits. I am not recommending anyone mirror this portfolio, which is merely designed to show my unique, rule-based, methodical approach to value-focused, long-term, dividend growth investing. My situation is unique, as though only 31, I'm already retired (medical retirement from the Army), thus making this portfolio... Read more

The 1% Dividend Growth Portfolio Q1 Update - Let It Rain Dividends

This is the first report on the progress of the 1% Dividend Growth Portfolio. I must apologize for not getting this out sooner, however I have been working on a spreadsheet that would calculate the dividends and the progress of the portfolio as well as doing data entry. But now that I have something to work with, I will present the Q1 results. For first-time readers, you may want to click here to read my article on how I developed this portfolio. In a quick summary, dividend stocks with a... Read more
