7 Best Dividend Stocks To Buy And Hold: Industrials And Materials

Introduction Dividend stocks are one of the key components of a value investor's portfolio. The regular income provides increasing liquidity and compensation as you wait for the valuation thesis to play out. Typically, dividends tend to be a bonus as most value investing screens are run for valuation first. However, I also like to look at strong dividend stocks and then filter for undervaluation. These do not always offer strongest value stocks, but these will help protect your portfolio by... Read more

Dividends 2019: Resolve To Restrain Expectations And Scrutinize Risk

Financial annals will likely look back at 2018 as a generally tumultuous year in terms of equity performance. Two sharp corrections highlighted an otherwise mildly collective down year. To those of us that have been skeptical about broad-based stock valuations for some time, the rough ride experienced was certainly not a shock. Still, at least on a near-term basis, equities continue to be resilient, with investors maintaining their "buy the dips" mentality, which has prevailed for almost a... Read more

If you know how this was built and the caveats, feel free to jump down to the lists themselves. How It's Assembled The information presented below was created by... Read more

Dividend Increases: October 29-November 2, 2018

One way to identify dividend growth stocks for further analysis is to monitor dividend increases. Companies that regularly increase their dividends show confidence in future earnings growth potential. The CCC List provides a good starting point, but I limit the number of stocks to monitor by applying the following screens: Dividend Yield ≥ 1.0% Market cap ≥ $1 billion No stocks that are being acquired No Over-The-Counter or Pink Sheet stocks This week, 16 companies that announced... Aircastle: Attractive Yield, Little Downside Risk

With a yield of 4.65%, Aircastle Limited (NYSE: AYR), looks attractive from an income investor's point of view. We recently wrote an article titled "Small Cap Companies Yielding More Than Their Debt" and AYR fell within our criteria. The thesis being companies paying dividend yields greater than their debt may represent a deeply discounted opportunity. In a market with record high valuations, identifying businesses that can stay competitive, have strong fundamentals, and will continue to pay... Read more
